Measure Your Fence
MEASURE YOUR FENCE
MEASURE YOUR FENCE AND LINK
We ask for two important sizes in order to make sure our cups will fit your fence.
- FENCE HEIGHT = This is the height of your fence (how many links/diamonds you have from top to bottom).
- LINK SIZE = This is the size of your link/diamond of your fence.
We have TWO Different cup sizes. Our standard cups are 2" and are the most common link size. The other link size if for TENNIS Court links which are 1.5" - 1.75"
The height (and length) of your fence is the only limit to what you can put on your fence. The more height and space we have to work with, the more cups and more creative the designs.
For reference, we size our heights by link count (diamonds from top to bottom [straight up and down]).
- 3' Fences = 10 links tall
- 4' Fences = 14 links tall
- 5' Fences = 16/17 links tall
- 6' Fences = 19/20 links tall
If your fence is between link counts, we recommend to size down so that we can guarantee a good fit for your design.
1.5" - 1.75" links
Smaller links are rare, but are installed in different areas. These links are common on very tall fences, tennis courts or other recreation areas.
2" - 2.5" Links
The 2" Regular Cups are the most common links in chain-link fencing. These cups will fit up to a 2.5" opening. Makes sure to measure.
Poles do not impact fence
The poles do not impact spacing. Cups can still be installed on the side where the pole is not facing. A reverse design is the result as shown above.
